We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2018, at the age of 83, James Sommer (McMurray, Pennsylvania), born in Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Joe Sommer. He is survived by: his spouse Elizabeth "Betty"; his children, Bob Sommer, Marianne Moulden (Mark), Jack Sommer, Mike Sommer (Ellen), Dan Sommer (Adrienne) and Karen Turnbull (Mike); his grandchildren, Melissa Howard (Wes), Michelle Bonham (Jordan), Megan Moorman (Brett), Jill Sommer, Ali Sommer, Gabe Sommer, Evan Turnbull and William Turnbull; his great grandchildren, Ryan Howard and Sean Howard; and his parent Helen Sommer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat Center, 148 Monastery Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
