She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grover J. T. Kihlken and Alta H. Kihlken; her husband David W. Braithwaite; and her daughters, Sandra Sykes of York, PA, Deborah Pulianas of Bristol, IN and Catherine Chamberlin of Clayton, MO..

The family requests no flowers at this time but that memorials be made to one of three beneficiaries. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 80 Bartley Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241, or to the Friendship Village Employee Fund, 1290 Boyce Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241, or to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Suite 401B, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
