With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Kalaskie of McMurray, Pennsylvania, born in Braddock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her parents, Walter Balawajder and Stella Balawajder of McKeesport, PA; and her siblings, Joseph Balawajder of West Mifflin, PA and Irene Denne (Balawajder) of Duquesne, PA..
She is survived by: her son William Kalaskie (Willie); her daughter-in-law Carolyn (Belton) of Colorado Springs, CO; her daughter Judy Kerr (Kalaskie); her son-in-law Jeffrey Kerr of Finleyville, PA; her sister Kathy Ingel of White Oak; her sisters-in-law, Audrey Balawajder of West Mifflin, PA and Doris Mikolich (Kalaskie) of Canonsburg, PA; her grandchildren, Brandon Kalaskie (Amanda) of Colorado Springs, Christin Breed (Wynne) of Dallas, TX, Tyler Kerr (Jessica) of State College, PA and Joshua Kerr (Natalia) of Bethel Park; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Kalaskie, Jaxson, Neko and Santiago Kerr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life is planned later in 2021 for family and friends who could not attend due to the COVID virus.
