She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bertovich and Mary Illuv Bertovich; her son Joseph; her siblings, Thomas "Ike" Bertovich, John Bertovich and Mary Bertovich Culp (Woodrow); and her nephews, Richard and James Culp.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Emily Foglia Brauner (EJ), Katie Foglia (Savannah), Olivia Bovalina Hurley (Kyle), Anna Bovalina, Michael, David and Christen Brova; her great grandchildren, Alessia Brauner and Lucy Hurley; her goddaughter Heather Hrutkay Stubert; and also, Joe Brova, Joseph Brova (Sheila), Marianne Foglia (Francis), Karen Bovalina (Dominick) and Ben Neff.
She cared for her Joe until his passing from Alzheimer's in 2012.
