He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Herman and Sophie Herman; and his sister Marilynn Buddemeyer. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Donald (Lisa), Ronald (Paula), Thomas (Jacqueline) and Robert (Anne); his grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Annie, Christina, Jonathon, Lauren, Aaron, Adam, Catherine, Sean, Robert and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Devin, Andrew, Conner, Maddison and Michael.
