With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Commissioner Eva D. Gaither (McMurray, Pennsylvania), born in Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sisters, Elizabeth and Carolyn Sue. She is survived by: her husband Israel L. Gaither; her children, Michele Gaither Sparks and Mark Lee Gaither (Amy); her grandchildren, Isaiah Highland Sparks, Matthew Israel Gaither, Virginia Marie Gaither and Andrew Adams Gaither; her brothers, Bill Shue and John Shue; her sisters-in-law, Sharon and Cathy; her sister Jacqueline; and her siblings-in-law, Torrance Respress and Kathy Gaither Cotten.
