He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Jewell and Thelma Sherer Willig; and his half-brother Donald Willig. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Morrison Jewell; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Susan Jewell; his grandchildren, Ryan Jewell and Laurel Jewell; and his brother Simon Jewell.
