She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis John and Emma Murray; her husband Kenneth K. Thompson Sr.; her son Jeffrey K. Thompson; and her sister Elaine Vasselo.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth K. Thompson Jr. (Sandra) of Hickory, David K. Thompson (Kathleen) of Baldwin and Barb L. Jones of Canonsburg; her daughter-in-law Franciene Thompson; her grandchildren, Chad Thompson (Carianne), Kelli Grindo, Tiffany Thompson (Levi Overdorff), Kenny Thompson, Michael Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Cory Jones and Megan Jones; her great grandchildren, Pyper, Carson Grindo, Sawyer, Harper Thompson and Mason Overdorff; and her siblings, John Murray (Carol) of Baldwin, Greg Murray of Butler, Claire Swatko (Walter) of Conway, Carol Hall of West Virginia and Maureen Hatfield (Tom) of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the suggests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
