She was predeceased by: her parents, John Emmerling and Mary Alice Auth Emmerling; and her sister Judith Probert Palm. She is survived by: her husband David H August; her children, Amy Horn (Steve) and Brad August (Sara); and her brothers, Jack, Chuck, Tom and Ernie Emmerling. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
