He is survived by: his wife Lillian Helfer (Britz); his children, Kathy Grove (Ray) and Alan Helfer (Michelle); his siblings, Robert, Ronald, Richard, Kenneth, Joan and Carol; his grandchildren, Heather, Richard, Kristina, Allison and Anna; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Dylan and Layla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
