With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wayne R. Fleckenstein of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by : his parents, Regis J. Fleckenstein and Ethel Fleckenstein (Cherpak); and his son Rev. Robert W. "Rob" Fleckenstein. He is survived by : his wife Mary Fleckenstein (Hock); his daughter Julie Fleckenstein (Daniel Hayes) of Turtle Creek; and his brother Dennis Fleckenstein (Jane) of Indianola, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (312 32nd St, McKeesport, PA 15132).
