He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hiram Abner Burke and Mariam C Jones Burke Carroll; his grandparents, Watkins Wilford Jones and Julia J Baker Jones; his wife Doris L Quantz Burke; and his daughters, Celia M Quantz McCluan (Donald Reed), Marie C Takacs (John) and Anne Burke-Evanoff (Jim). He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
