He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bonczek and Helen Bonczek (Janovitz); and his wife Doris Mae Bonczek (Henry). He is survived by: his children, Janet Ertle (William) of Millsboro, DE and Glenn Bonczek (Carole) of McKeesport; his stepchildren, Dennis Marker (Joyce) of Port Vue and Janice Rogers (Phil) of Cranberry; his sisters, Dolores Blum of Pittsburgh and Florence Innes of Sarasota, FL; and his close friend Terry Pazuchanics of Elizabeth Twp. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
