He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Herbert and Hazel Smith; his spouse Marion Smith (Morris); and his siblings, Rex, Marge and Hebert Smith.
He is survived by: his son Greg Smith (Sandy) of White Oak. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
