He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew and Ruth Tarsala (Nemanick); his granddaughter Alyson Higdon; and his son-in-law Joseph Higdon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Tarsala (Raymer); his daughters, Cindi Higdon, Amy Chambers (Rob), Jayme Schmidt Fazek (Justin) of McKeesport and Wendy Forrest (Brian) of Port Vue; his grandchildren, Caleb, Haylie, Jonah, Jace, Colby, Amelia, Brianne, Alex, Ben and Eric; and his siblings, Ronald Tarsala of Latrobe and Joan Cochran of Herminie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
