He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico "Nick" and Gaetana "Tinney" Vay (Giochi); his wife Dorothy Marie Vay (Moonis); and his brother Joseph Vay. He is survived by: his children, Denise Vay Jones (Chris) of Indiana Township and Nick Vay (Sara) of Lincoln Boro; his grandchildren, Carly Jones, Nicholas Vay (Crystal), Michael Vay (Kara), Luke Vay and Elizabeth Vay; and his great grandchildren, Hazel, Addison, Henrietta and Eliana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Rescue or the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (Tribute Donation).
