He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pattakos and Shirley Pattakos (Fuller); and his brother Eugene "Babe" Roney. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rucker (Gessner); his daughters, Jessica Harrison (Chris) of Trafford and Julie Rucker (Josh Smidansky) of McKeesport; his granddaughter Ryleigh Harrison; his brother Edward Roney of McKeesport; his nephew Michael; his godson Jason Roney; his mother-in-law Helen Gessner; and his brother-in-law Duane Gessner. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who he called his family.
