It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Stein of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Schulherr and Hattie Arnold Schulherr; and her husband Alan Stein. She is survived by: her children, David Stein (Marci) of Houston, Joyce Johnson (Tim) of Statesville and Mona Legator (Saul) of Evanston, Illinois.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
