She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Harper and Ella Harper (Cox); her husband James F. Brooks, Sr.; her son James F., Jr.; and her siblings, George Douglas Harper, Charles Harper, Margaret Harper and Evelyn Watkins Lingard.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Brooks of McKeesport and Ronald Brooks of Michigan. She is also survived by many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
