She was predeceased by: her father Samuel James. She is survived by: her sister Clara "Clyda" Jones (Van Buren Stafford); her children, Robert Butler, Melissa James-Gordon, Walter Howard and Vanielle Stafford; and her grandchildren, Paul Williams, Tim'Nisha Jones, Love James, Daine Butler, Adrienne Butler, Brittany Butler, Brittany Crawford, Breonna Tartt, Aniyah Butler, Matthew Stafford Jr., Samiyah Stafford and Tyler Howard. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
