She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rizzo and Ida Rizzo (Dispenza); her husband John B. Hammerstrom; and her siblings, Joe Rizzo, Frances Stojanovic and Tony Rizzo.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Hammerstrom of McKeesport and Eric Hammerstrom (Sandra); her grandchildren, Brooke Barca (Edward) of Pittsburgh, Zachary Hammerstrom of McKeesport and Samantha Derosa (Dom) of Shaler; and her sister Connie Guzewicz of McKeesport. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
