He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. McArdle and Eva McArdle (Froelich); his sister Norah Davis; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald T. Firek, Timothy Kozlowski and David Opat.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann McArdle; his children, John McArdle (Sue) and Charlene Swauger (Ryan); his grandchildren, Shaun Mikluscak (Aaron), Katlin McArdle, Kyrstin Swauger and Ryan Swauger, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Elvis and Waylon Mikluscak; and his siblings, Kathleen Firek, Robert McArdle (Linda), Joseph McArdle (Charmaine), Patricia Scuilli (Carmen), Arlene Opat, Gerard McArdle (Cathy Jean) and Daniel McArdle (Pam). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
