He is survived by: his wife Cleo Lindberg Elash; his children, John Jason Elash of McKeesport and Debbie Vereb of White Oak; his grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Elash, Emma Louise Elash, Sarah Ann Elash and Madison Kathleen Vereb; and his sister Beverly Cardo of East McKeesport. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
