She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Josephine Fonner (Rice); her husband John J. "Jack" Lawson, Jr.; her son William E. Lawson; and her brother A. James Fonner.
She is survived by: her sons, John J. Lawson, III (Lynne) and David A. Lawson (Paula); her grandchildren, Stephanie DeAngelis, Corinna Lawson and Ian Richard Lawson; and her great grandchild Colton Thomas DeAngelis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
