The passing of George M. Turkovic (McKeesport, Pennsylvania) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Turkovic and Mary Turkovic (Spudich) of Port Vue; and his wife Marla Andrews Turkovic. He is survived by: his son Tony Turkovic (Holly) of Port Vue; his siblings, Rosemary Long of Hershey and Thomas Turkovic of Port Vue; his cousins, Eugene Horniscar, Dave Horniscar and Susan Ferraro; and his nieces and nephews, Georgie Harner (Tyler), Thomas Turkovic (Erica), Joseph Long (Nina), Victoria Turkovic and Travis Turkovic (Amanda). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and countless friends and family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory (220 9th St, McKeesport, PA 15132). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, cast a line, play some rock 'n' roll, and enjoy a moment of peace in his memory.
