She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Skarlis and Helen Skarlis (Karas); her husband Nicholas Jacob Skezas; and her siblings, Jeane Lynch, Maria, Robert and Nikolas Skarlis.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Helen S. "Dolly" Whelan (David T.), Dr. Catherine S. Lobaugh of Pittsburgh, Jacob N. Skezas (Rula) and Constance M. Skezas of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kalka (Tom), Christopher Whelan (Lindsey), Nicole Ziccarelli (Frank) of Lower Burrell, Nicholas A. Skezas (Katerina) of South Park and Eleni F. Skezas (David Marsili) of Pittsburgh; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Eleni Kalka, Franco, Melina, Valentina, Donatella Ziccarelli, Parker, Payton Whelan and Eleftheria Skezas; and her sisters-in-law, Dr. Marion Skezas and Maria Skezas. She is also survived by many nieces nephews and godchildren.
