He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Ruffing and Elizabeth "Betty" Ruffing (Fleckenstien); and his brother Robert Ruffing. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Ruffing (Ronda) and Carrie Trimpey (Keith); his brothers, Jerry Ruffing (Maureen), Paul Ruffing (Shari) and Ken Ruffing (Lisa); his sister-in-law JoAnn Ruffing of Greenock; his aunt Anna Marie; and his wife Amy Barnes. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
