She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Kemp and Carol Hemington Kemp of Virginia; her husband Ralph C. Nill; and her brothers, Ted and Peter Kemp.

She is survived by: her children, Christy Barowich (Dave), Jake Nill, Bryce, Bodie and Colby. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and deep lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, Carol suggested memorial contributions to the Allegheny Land Trust or to Planned Parenthood.
