She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Spalla and Mary Lako Spalla; and her brother-in-law Ken Yates. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald R. (Victoria L. Spencer) of McKeesport and Brian Shaffer of Albuquerque, NM; her sister Donna Barnes of North Versailles; and her nephews, Keith Barnes (Nikki) of New Kensington, Jason Barnes (Catherine) of Reston, VA and Eric Barnes (Diana) of Arlington, VA..
