We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2024, Rita Funwela of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rita farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rita is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pasquale Funwela; and her parents, Robert Nowicki and Stella Nowicki (Dunn). She is survived by: her children, Patrick (Joanne Funwela), Robert (Carolyn Funwela), Edward Funwela (late Jean) and Debra (Mark Webster); her brother Arthur Nowicki; and her pet Rocco. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great - grandchildren.
