He was predeceased by: his wife Betty (Hufnagel); his parents, Alda Messner and Fred Messner; and his siblings, Betty Vidmar, Evelyn Seubert, Shirley Walker, Lorraine Corbett, James, Ronald, George and Paul Messner.
He is survived by: his children, Richie and David (Diana); his granddaughters, Abigail and Haley; and his sisters, Joan Starega, Carol Shoup and Sandra Masters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDermott Funeral Home (334 Forest Grove Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
