He was predeceased by: his children, Karen McGowan and Gary Kalyn; and his siblings, Steve, Ann and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Kalyn (Pat) and Janice Kalyn; his grandchildren, Joey (Erin), Jennifer (Andrew), Justin, Jessica, Ryan (Bethany), Matthew (Shelly), Kelly (Nick), Gary and Kevin (Leah); and his great grandchildren, Blake, Parker, Charlee, Dominic, Casey, Cameron, Cody, Hannah, Sammy, Caleb and Emily. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family suggests family contributions to the Cancer Society.
