James Downey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Downey (McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Norma Jean Downey (Beck); and his sibling William. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Eugene Papst (Jean), Michael Papst, Mary Ann Papst and Joan Potts (Edward); his siblings, Norman and Joseph Downey; and his cousin Paul "Mick" Kirby. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
