We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2024, at the age of 43, David J. Burkhart of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Burkhart and Janet Burkhart (Wilson). He is survived by : his significant other Melanie Gajdzik; his son Xavier Cannon; his aunts, Doreen Mixter and Joyce Surdyk; his uncle Dave Burkhart; his close friends, Rob Simconis and Justin "Clap" Clapperton; and his pets, Hurricane and Bobby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory (2703 Oneil Blvd, McKeesport, PA 15132). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
