He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel, Sr. Berkley and Joyce Berkley; and his brother Larry Berkley. He is survived by: his wife Monique "Nikki" Berkley; his son David, Jr. (Deja); his siblings, Sheena and Samuel Berkley, Jr.; his daughter Carmen Berkley; his niece Tiffany Forbes-Spencer (David); his great-nephew Antoine; his great-niece Antoinette Ralph; and his friend Kenneth Toley (Rose).
