He is survived by: his daughters, Nita Piatt and Luetta Lynn Turner-Smith; his grandchildren, Sophia Marie Thomas, Kevin Turner and Dakota Smith; and his sisters, Penny Thomas and Louise Kurtz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
