He was predeceased by: his brother John; and his parents, John Gutt and Stella Gutt. He is survived by: his wife Laura Gutt (Porco); his children, Nichole Gutt (Travis Rose) and Anthony Gutt (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Haven, Hudson and Skylynn Gutt; his siblings, Shirley Pieto (Anthony), Lorraine Langmann (Robert), Mark Gutt, Chris Gutt (Becky Pelescak) and Kevin Gutt (Dawn); and his siblings-in-law, Catherine Badger (Peter), Patricia Castelucci (Kevin) and William Porco (Leslie Raymond). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
