With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Brown (McKean, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Kemp and Bertha Kemp; her former husbands, Lawrence Southard and Wayne Dean; her husband John Brown; her grandsons, Dylan Moore and Brandon Sanner; and her siblings, Leon Kemp, Kenneth Kemp and Ortha Goodman.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Moore (William) of McKean, Garry Southard (Kathy) of Michigan and Ronald Southard (Gisele) of Smethport, PA; and her grandchildren, Sherri Sparrow (Robert Giannone), LeAnne Sanner, Shannon Hudson (Joe), Lori Rutledge (Frank Peterson), William Moore, Greg Southard (Megan McCoy), Geoff Southard (Stacey) and Andrea Halvorsen (Steffan). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
