It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Sweeney (McKean, Pennsylvania), born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Everett Sweeney. He is survived by: his parent Helen Sweeney; his wife Nancy Sweeney; his children, Brian Sweeney (Michelle) of Erie, John Sweeney of Edinboro and Colleen Sherk (Douglas); his sisters, Lois Bartlett of New Castle and Kathleen Foster (William) of New Castle; and his grandchildren, Amber Sylvis (Raymond), Justin Sweeney, Brandon Sweeney, Ashlee Sherk and Joshua Sweeney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
