He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Brocious and Anna Lindy Brocious; his wife Elizabeth J. Mehler Brocious; his son Robert "Butch" Brocious; and his sisters, Dora Beck, Thelma Lada, Catherine Matkovich and Evelyn Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Potter (Larry) of Erie, Patricia Messenger (Timothy) of Erie and Raymond Brocious (Nansu) of Cleveland; his daughter-in-law Beverlie Brocious of Erie; his grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer), Jeffrey (YiJin), Anna (Michael Boetger), Benjamin, Kevin (Kedron) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Robert, Aiden, Shawn, Baylee, Michael, Liam and Elizabeth; and his sister Linda Goodman (Richard) of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
