He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Davies and Mammie Wise Davies; his wife Laura McLaughlin Davies; his daughter-in-law Tammy Davies; his granddaughter Janelle Guriel; and his siblings, Hilary Davies, Charles J. Davies Jr., Vernon S. Davies and Raymond J. Davies.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence P. Davies Jr. (Yolanda) of Peoria, AZ, Mark A. Davies (Barbara) of McKean and Kristine A. Smith (Sidney) of Nampa, ID; his grandchildren, Matthew, Sara, Jacob, Seth, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Sidney and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Noah, Ava, Aria and Liliana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
