He was predeceased by: his parents, John Regan and Rose Oldham Regan; his wife Jeanne Dion Regan; and his son Michael J. Regan. He is survived by: his siblings, Bob, Bill, Don, Regis and Patricia (Pat); his children, Kathleen Bloom (Steve) of Hereford, Nancy Fowler (Dave), Patrick Regan (Patty), Colleen Moran (Jerry) and Daniel J. Regan; his daughter-in-law Linda Regan of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Sean Regan, Kayla Regan, Janelle Frenette (Chanse), Aubry DeMarco (Jon), Daniel R. Regan (Julia), Shannon Regan (Dave Rafle), Molly Dillen (Evan), Aidan Regan, Jack Moran (Kendra), Maureen Schuller (Daniel), Peter Moran (Zachary Beach), Lucas and Adam Regan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
