As James Wilson departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Wilson may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Wilson leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Lender Sr. and Ellen Slater Lender. He is survived by: his wife Julia Remek; his sons, Stephen of Lake City and Michael of Geneva, OH; his sister Darla Zatek; and his close friends, Ginger and Pepper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (306 Erie St, Edinboro, PA 16412). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
