He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Hess, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Mayer, Sr. and Janet Hess. He is survived by: his wife Vera (Patterson); and his siblings, Edward (Joan), Brenda Garloch (Paul), Evelyn Mayer, Ardell (Joann), Boyd, Jr. (Barb), Lloyd, Florence Wilkosz (George), Dale (Lori) and Arnold (Jeanette). He is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
