He was predeceased by: his father Lyman Shirley; and his friends, Joe Yates, Clayton Croyle, Dave Hrabovsky, Terry Fennell, Drew Shedwick, Ted and Ronald Brightmeyer.
He is survived by: his mother Carmella Shirley; his siblings, Carol Weghorst, Kenneth and Michael Shirley; his nephew Jeremy; his nieces, Sara Shirley, Kirsten Morrison, Jessica Percel and Jennifer Shirley; his great-nephews, Kane and Colt Morrison; and his friend Ron Patton.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Service (1032 4th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Church (736 4th Ave, Ford City, PA 16226).
