It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca C. Rishel of McElhattan, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Englert and Stella Mae Krape; and her grandparents, Laura Simcox Krape and Oscar Simcox. She is survived by: her husband Harry Rishel of McElhattan; her daughters, Miriam Rishel (Mike Geyer) of McElhattan, Bobbie Lowmiller (Lee) of McElhattan, Debbie Coover (Kyle) of Castanea and Amanda Rishel of Lock Haven; her brother George Krape of McElhattan; her grandchildren, Hailey Lowmiller, Dakota Rishel, Dalton Lowmiller, Trayton Lowmiller, Aideynn Coover, Myra Coover, Rylee Rishel and James Rishel; her great grandchild Josie Donoughe; and her pets, Toby and BamBam.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. (231 High St, Lock Haven, PA 17745). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Becky's name may be made to either American Cancer Society or The Gatehouse through the funeral home.
