She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Krape and Emma Shroat Krape; her husband Robert D. Lachat; and her brother William Krape. She is survived by: her children, Theresa A. Sample of McElhattan, Eileen J. Young of McElhattan and Robert J. Lachat of Lock Haven; and her grandchildren, Lisa Bangson, Chris Lachat, Bob Gill, Adam Young, Scott Young, Eddie Young and Paul Sample.

Because of her love for animals, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. through the funeral home.
