He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry, Sr. Welshans and Jean Dickey Welshans; and his son Matthew Welshans. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Welshans (Edward Suarez) of Naperville, Illinois; his granddaughter Julia Jean Suarez; his siblings, Susan Benton of Huntingdon, Larry Welshans, Jr. (Janie) of Lewistown, Mona Calhoun (David) of McElhattan, Peggy Lyons (Alton) of Oklahoma and Gregory Welshans (Tammy) of Rauchtown; and his granddaughter Sally Eloise Suarez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
