She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Remick and Evelyn Allen Remick; her husband Frederick James Lachat, Sr.; and her granddaughter Heather A. Merrill. She is survived by: her children, Frederick J. Lachat, Jr. (Judy) of Lock Haven, Kathy M. Lachat of McElhatten, Brenda A. Lachat (Ken Walizer) of Lykens and Michael L. Lachat of McElhattan; and her grandchildren, Josie, Jamie, Joshua, Devin, Michael David and Kendra. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Alzheimer's Association. A covered dish or a monetary donation to the Wayne Twp.
