He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Robert and Lillian Blanche Cox Benard. He is survived by: his wife Cattie Pearl Benard; his children, Toni Gale Multunas (Louis) of McDonald, William Vaughan Benard of Carnegie, Marcy Arlette Benard of McDonald, Alec Jon Benard of Washington and Lillian Aleene Benard of Waynesburg; and his sisters, Lilly Mae George and Chrissy Faye Bruce.
